Thor ASGuard range (Aluminium Section Guards) is a modular fencing system designed to provide physical protection for the workforce and keep up with the increasing demands of the robotics and manufacturing industries. 

​

Thors ASGuard range is a popular alternative to steel guarding. Its modular design can easily be modified and gives an aesthetic appeal. Depending on the application Thor's panel configuration can use a range of inserts from 3mm thick polycarbonate to 2mm thick powder-coated sheet steel. Using clear polycarbonate offers a clear view of the cell interior whilst providing excellent impact resistance and is especially favourable for spot welding applications.

  • Custom laser cut steel profiles ideal for branding. Add it to your weld cells with a weld grade PVC sheet that eliminates from the weld flash within the automated cell.

Our aluminium guarding meets the following legislation:

  • BS EN ISO 14120:2015 - Safety of Machinery – Guards – General requirements for the design, construction and selection of fixed and movable guards.

  • BS EN ISO 12100:2010 - Safety of machinery - General principles for design. Risk assessment and risk reduction

  • BS EN ISO 13857:2008 Safety of machinery - Safety distances to prevent hazard zones being reached by upper and lower limbs.
